Building Bright Futures
Strengthening the mental health and safety of children at home, school and in the community through CATS programs such as Building Bright Futures is critical to each child’s positive development. It helps determine how children and adolescents are able to manage and express emotions, the quality of relationships they have with friends and family, as well as the ability to develop cognitively and intellectually.
The CATS Building Bright Futures program keeps students safe and productive by providing:
- Academic assistance
- Socio-emotional supports
- High-quality enrichment opportunities
- Family engagement
- School- and afterschool-based supports
Early Recognition and Coordination
We provide mental health screenings for early identification of potential mental health issues.
Violence Prevention Programs
We teach alternatives to violence by developing empathy, impulse control and problem-solving skills.
