Children’s Health Home Care Manager High Acuity

Family Advocate

The Family Advocate is responsible for the support and advocate for families of children with an emotional and/or behavioral disability.  Work collaboratively as part of a comprehensive school, child and family team.  Provide quality, culturally competent advocacy and support to children and families identified within Erie County’s child servicing  systems.  Initiate and maintain contacts within the Erie County community and New York State, with family advocates and family support advocate organizations.

Required

The Building Brighter Futures program is looking for a strong candidate to provide social-emotional development to students in various after-school programs.  The Social-Emotional Facilitator will be responsible for implementing small group or classroom-based interventions to the students during the after-school program.  Programs run Monday-Friday from 2:30-5:30pm.  We are looking for someone to provide programming 3-5 days a week and must be able to work Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-5:30pm.  This position is based on grant funding.

Required

The Building Brighter Futures program is looking for qualified individuals to be Enrichment Leaders and help conduct our rich and varied Social and Emotional Learning-based afterschool programming in Buffalo Public Schools.  Our programming runs between 2 and 3 hours after the end of the school day, depending on the school, and includes academics as well as various enrichment  activities:  Arts & Crafts, Cooking, Science, English Language Arts, Photography, Journalism, Social Emotional Learning, Technology, Mathematics and Physical Education.  This is your opportunity to instruct and inspire children and youth!
